John P. Gianfortune

John P. Gianfortune attended the University of Scranton where he received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Business in 1984. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1990, graduating Cum Laude and in the top 10% of his law school class. He is admitted to practice law in all the Courts of the State of New York; as well as before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers,; American Association for Justice, Columbian Lawyers Association of Nassau County, Nassau County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Gianfortune was born in New York City, was raised and still lives on Long Island with his wife and two children. He is proud of his community and its values of hard work, fair play and right versus wrong. He has said “Even as a kid in school I couldn’t stand bullies. I would step in every time I saw someone being picked on!” With that sense of right and wrong and that desire to help others in need, Mr. Gianfortune limited his practice exclusively to fighting for those who are wrongfully injured. “I fight for those who can’t fight for themselves” says Mr. Gianfortune. He represents victims of medical malpractice, automobile and other vehicular accidents, construction accidents, wrongful death cases, defective products and Civil Rights cases.
